About the role
Work as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, translating business needs into maintainable configured solutions. This role focuses on requirements analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, user support, and implementation documentation within the agreed application scope.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, workflows, and process gaps.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and configuration plans.
- Configure approved functionality within the assigned Dynamics 365 application and coordinate technical changes with developers.
- Support data preparation, mapping, validation, and migration activities.
- Prepare test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, and track issues to resolution.
- Maintain configuration documentation and assist with user guidance, training, and support.
Skills and experience
- Practical experience with one or more Dynamics 365 business applications.
- Ability to understand business workflows and document clear functional requirements.
- Experience with configuration, testing, issue investigation, or application support.
- Awareness of role-based access, data quality, and controlled change processes.
- Clear communication with business users, developers, and other project stakeholders.
Helpful additional experience
Relevant implementation projects or Microsoft certifications can demonstrate experience. In your application, identify the Dynamics 365 applications you have worked with, the business processes involved, and your contribution to configuration, testing, or user adoption.
